Kaliadeh Palace stands in a scenic riverside setting on the Shipra, with water channels and tanks around the old palace complex. The site is associated with imperial visits by Akbar and Jahangir, was damaged in the Pindari period, and was restored by Madhav Rao Scindia in the early 20th century.
