The Terraced Garden in Sector 33 is a series of stone-walled levels stepping down a low slope, planted heavily with seasonal flowers and arranged around a central musical fountain. It is the most family-friendly of Chandigarh's many gardens — quiet on weekday mornings, busy on Sunday evenings when the fountain show runs.
The chrysanthemum show in early December turns the garden into a sea of yellow and white and is one of the better-loved minor festivals in Chandigarh. Free entry, open all day.
