ISKCON Temple Noida

The ISKCON temple on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is one of the larger Hare Krishna complexes in the NCR. Built in white stone with traditional Vaishnava motifs, the temple complex includes the main prayer hall with deities of Radha-Krishna and Gaur-Nitai, a Vedic museum, a Govinda's vegetarian restaurant, and a bookshop.

Daily aarti ceremonies are held seven times a day, the most popular being the evening Sandhya Aarti around sunset, when devotees gather to sing and dance. Janmashtami in August/September is the major festival here, drawing tens of thousands. Visitors of any faith are welcome; appropriate dress is expected, and shoes are left at the entrance. Quiet, well-maintained, and a refreshing pause from Noida's commercial sprawl.
