Masjid Raya is Batam Centre's main mosque, known for its broad, pyramid-like roof form. It is not as polished as some newer Indonesian landmark mosques, but the shape makes it one of the more distinctive buildings in this part of Batam.
It is worth a short look if you are already in Batam Centre, especially when paired with the nearby civic and waterfront area.
