A small, no-frills champon shop just off the Hamanmachi arcade, popular with locals at lunch. The broth is leaner than Shikairou's — clearer pork stock with less lard, less rich and arguably more refreshing on a hot day. A bowl is around 800 yen and arrives in under five minutes. If you want to try champon without the tourist mark-up, Ginrei is a good first stop. Counter-only seating; the queue moves fast.
