The M Auezov Literature Memorial House preserves the last home of Mukhtar Auezov, the Kazakh playwright and novelist best known for The Path of Abai. The rooms give a small, atmospheric look at the writer's life and Soviet-era Kazakh literary culture, though most interpretation is in Russian or Kazakh.
