Lovers' Park (also called Youth Park) sits on the right bank of the Ishim, a green space of walking paths, fountains, and modest sculpture popular with couples and wedding-photo parties. The name comes from the cluster of romantic-themed sculptures and the long heart-shaped flowerbeds; it is unironically what it sounds like.
The park is more atmospheric in the evening, when fountain lights come on and the river embankment fills with strolling families. There is little to do specifically — no museums or attractions — but it is a pleasant place to break a walk along the Ishim or to wait out the heat of a summer afternoon under the trees.
