A cosy Italian restaurant on the main covered shopping street in Seongnamdong, Viva serves pasta dishes based on tomato sauce, cream sauce, and risotto for 7,000-8,000 won -- excellent value by Ulsan standards. The atmosphere is warm, with jazz music and green-and-cream decor providing a welcome escape from the busy street outside. No pizza on the menu, and ordering can be tricky across the language barrier despite a bilingual menu. House wine is 15,000 won. Open 11am to 10pm, no smoking.
