Ulsan has a small domestic airport with flights to Seoul Gimpo and Jeju-do, but no international service. Most visitors arriving from abroad fly into Gimhae International Airport in Busan and take a direct bus to Ulsan in about an hour. Express buses from across Korea arrive at Samsandong terminal, with Seoul roughly six hours away. Trains run throughout the day, with the fastest option being the KTX to Dongdaegu followed by a transfer -- a journey of about four hours total from Seoul. The road network is well developed via the Gyeongbu Expressway. There are no passenger ferry services.
