In Samsandong, the Lotte and Hyundai department stores have decent cafes on their upper floors, and Be-Bop Jazz offers live music. Mugeodong, near the university, is packed with student-friendly options worth exploring at random. For bars, the foreigner-operated Tombstone and Benchwarmers are popular in Seongnamdong. In Bangeojin, the Korean Union and the Elephant and Castle serve as locals for British engineers working at the shipyards.
