Ulsan Station has regular train services but no direct KTX. The fastest option from Seoul is the KTX to Dongdaegu (about 1 hour 40 minutes) followed by a transfer to a conventional train to Ulsan. Total journey time is roughly four hours. The slower Saemaeul and Mugunghwa services run directly from Seoul but take five to six hours. The station is about twenty minutes on foot from Samsandong centre -- follow the main road and look for the Lotte ferris wheel. Trains also connect Ulsan with Gyeongju (about 40 minutes) and Busan.
