Jangsaengpo Whale Museum stands in the old whaling port that helped define Ulsan before the city became shorthand for heavy industry. The exhibits cover whale biology, the history of Korean whaling, and the shift from hunting to conservation, with skeletons, tools, models, and plenty of material for families.
The surrounding whale culture district makes the museum more than a single indoor stop. You can combine it with the recreated whaling village, the monorail, and views toward Ulsan Bridge and the industrial waterfront, which gives the visit a strong sense of place.
