Naewonam Valley cuts into the slopes of Mt Daeun south of Ulsan, with clear pools, small waterfalls, large boulders, and Naewonam Temple tucked into the mountain scenery. It is a quieter nature stop than the city's better-known coast and industrial landmarks.
Come for a half-day walk rather than a single photo. The valley is best after rain or in warm weather, when the stream and shaded pools give the place its character.
