The Lin Yutang House preserves the former Taipei home of writer and scholar Lin Yutang, one of the best-known Chinese-language intellectuals of the twentieth century. The house sits on the lower slopes of Yangmingshan, with a quieter mood than the busy museum belt closer to the city centre.
Come if you are interested in literature, modern Chinese thought, or domestic architecture. It also makes a calm stop before or after the National Palace Museum.
