One of Ayutthaya's oldest temples, built in 1369 by King Ramesuan on the cremation site of King Uthong, the city's founder. The central prang has been partially restored, but original stucco garudas and nagas still cling to the stonework.
The tall archway at the entrance was designed for elephants to pass through. The reflecting pool in front makes this one of the most photogenic ruins in the park, especially in the late afternoon light.
