The archaeology museum covers the region from the Neolithic through to the Ottoman period, with particular strength in finds from the upper Tigris valley. The Neolithic and Bronze Age collections are good; the site at Çayönü near Ergani, one of the world's earliest farming settlements, is represented here. Modest admission fee; allow a couple of hours.
