Sahip Ata Museum

Small ethnography museum in the dervish lodge of the Sahib Ata complex

The Sahip Ata Museum occupies the rebuilt thirteenth-century dervish lodge attached to the Sahib Ata mosque. The collection focuses on objects from the lodge's original function as a Mevlevi tekke — manuscripts, calligraphy, ceremonial robes, prayer rugs, and musical instruments used in the sema ritual — alongside a more general ethnographic display of clothing, jewellery, and domestic items from the Konya region.

It is a small museum and easily combined with a visit to the adjoining mosque complex; allow about forty-five minutes. Closed Mondays.
