Linh Ung Temple is the white pagoda complex on the Son Tra peninsula, visible from much of Da Nang thanks to its enormous Lady Buddha statue facing the sea. The setting is the point: wooded hills behind, the city and bay below, and the long curve of My Khe Beach stretching south.
The temple grounds are spacious and calm once you get beyond the selfie spots around the statue. Come early or near sunset for softer light and cooler air. The road up Son Tra is steep in places, so use a reliable taxi, motorbike, or organised tour rather than treating it as a casual city-centre walk.
