A large French military cemetery on the northern edge of the city, holding the graves of French soldiers who died around Korçë during the 1916–1918 occupation. It is one of the most legible monuments to the city's surprising World War I history — the brief Autonomous Province of Korçë, set up under French military rule.
The cemetery is well kept, with rows of identical crosses against the hills behind the city. It is a 25-minute walk from the centre, or a short taxi ride.
