The main drinking strip is around Brandts and the streets just south of the cathedral — Vintapperstræde and the parallel Klingenberg are dense with bars. Odense has an unusually strong craft-beer scene for its size, helped by the local Refsvindinge brewery and several smaller producers in the surrounding countryside.
