Erichsens Gård

Restored 19th-century merchant's house and garden in the old town

A timber-framed merchant's house from the late 18th century, lived in by the Erichsen family of poets, painters and burghers across four generations. The rooms are kept as they were in the mid-19th century — heavy oak furniture, blue-and-white delft on the dresser, a chintz parlour — and the cobbled courtyard garden behind, with old apple trees and herb beds, is one of the prettiest spots in Rønne.

It is one of the smaller sites under the Bornholms Museum umbrella, and easy to combine with the main museum a few streets away. Open in summer only.
