A historic Dijon restaurant on Place de la Libération, run for many years by Jean-Pierre Billoux. The menu is upmarket French with strong Burgundian roots — escargots, oeufs en meurette done with real attention, classic boeuf bourguignon, plus more modern game and fish dishes in season.
The dining room overlooking the floodlit Palace of the Dukes is the best view from any restaurant in the city. Reservations essential, particularly at weekends.
