The Schlosskirche in central Cottbus was built as a Protestant church in 1419 and later became one of the city's notable historic buildings near the pedestrian centre. In 2014 it was rededicated as a synagogue, giving the building a new religious role after centuries of change.
It is a compact stop, best combined with the nearby Wendish Museum, Spremberger Turm, and other sights in the old centre.
