The Church of St. Basil of the Agora is a small thirteenth-century Byzantine church with far more personality than its size suggests. Its exterior is the reason to come: coloured glazed tiles, brick patterns, and careful stonework give the facade a lively texture.
The church is often closed, so treat it as an architectural stop while walking through Arta rather than a full interior visit.
