The riverside park along the Mosoni-Duna is the best place in Győr for a long walk without historical obligation. The tree-lined promenade stretches for several kilometres, passing the ETO football stadium (named after the local club that plays here) and continuing to the point where the smaller channels rejoin the main river.
On warm evenings the promenade fills with joggers, cyclists, and families. The river views are pleasant, and on clear days you can see the low hills of Slovakia across the water. The park also hosts the annual Győr Summer cultural festival, which brings outdoor concerts and performances to the riverbanks through July and August.
