Vastuskós House is an early Baroque townhouse in the centre of Győr, named for the iron-spiked tree trunks set below its corner balcony. The building is handsome in its own right, with the compact scale and ornament that make the old town worth wandering slowly.
Inside is the Imre Patkó Collection, with art and ethnographic pieces gathered across Europe, Asia, and Africa. It is not Győr's headline sight, but it is a good small stop if you are already exploring the historic core.
