The Baroque House is an 18th-century town house in Kőszeg's historic centre, built near the site of the former northern town bridge. Its basement preserves traces of the old Barbican defences, which makes it more than just another pretty facade.
It is a short stop, best folded into a walk around Jurisics tér, the castle, and the old town churches. Look for the building as part of Kőszeg's compact defensive and civic landscape.
