Kőszeg's ruined synagogue is a weathered remnant of the town's Jewish community, built in the 19th century in a Romantic style. Its twin-tower facade and circular central space still hint at the ambition of the original building, even though the structure is no longer intact.
It is a short, reflective stop near the historic centre. See it alongside Jurisics tér, the churches, and the castle for a fuller sense of Kőszeg's layered past.
