The Episcopal Palace (Püspöki palota) sits on the south side of Városház tér, a long two-storey Zopf-style building from the late 18th century. The Zopf style is a late-baroque, early-classical transitional manner peculiar to central Europe, restrained and symmetrical with garlands and urn motifs above the windows.
The interior holds the bishop's library, with a particularly fine collection of medieval manuscripts and incunabula. The library is open to visitors on guided tours by arrangement; the main square façade is worth a look in any case.
