Pescara has a lively bar scene concentrated along Corso Umberto I and the seafront. In summer the action moves outdoors — the beach clubs serve aperitivo until late, and the promenade fills with people from early evening. The city has a younger crowd than most Abruzzo towns owing to its university population.
