The Spiaggia Urbani is a small but dramatic cove just south of San Michele, framed by white limestone rocks and home to a much-photographed natural arch. The beach is reached by a steep stepped path; the climb back up is the deterrent that keeps it manageable in season. Best in the morning, before the rocks throw shade on the water.
