Cala Paura is a small cove west of the old town, less iconic than Lama Monachile but often more practical for a quick swim. It has rocks, clear water, and fishing boats rather than the full postcard drama.
It still gets busy in summer, but the mood is a little more local. Bring water shoes and do not expect sand; this part of Puglia is about limestone ledges and transparent water.
