The Pino Pascali Museum is Polignano’s contemporary art stop, dedicated to the artist born here in 1935. Pascali became one of the most original figures associated with Arte Povera before his death at only thirty-two.
The museum gives the town a cultural edge beyond cliffs and restaurants. It is especially useful on a windy or overcast day, when the sea views are still beautiful but swimming loses some appeal.
