Cala Creta is one of Lampedusa's rockier coves, set on the island's eastern side where the coast feels rougher and less resort-like. The water is clear, the entry is more stone than sand, and the place suits swimmers who prefer a small cove to a broad beach scene.
Bring water shoes and keep expectations practical: this is not Rabbit Beach, and that is the point. Cala Creta is best for a morning swim, a bit of snorkelling in calm weather, and a look at Lampedusa's drier, stonier side before the day gets too hot.
