A modern bronze fountain on the bank of the Venta River, depicting four stylised long boats rowed by skeletal sun-god figures. It is one of those pieces of central European post-Soviet public sculpture that splits opinion: ridiculous to some, perfect to others. The river setting, with the castle in the background and ducks paddling around the basin, is genuinely lovely.
