The grand patisserie of Luxembourg, in business since 1964 and supplying the Grand Ducal court. The main branch on the Grand-Rue is part shop, part tea-room — order a coffee with one of the macarons, the Bombe Letzeburger (a chocolate-and-praline confection invented in-house), or a slice of the Saint-Honoré. Lunch sandwiches are excellent if pricey.
The newer branch in the Gare district is bigger and quieter; the city centre original is the more atmospheric of the two.
