Gorica Hill is Podgorica's green lung — a forested park rising from the western edge of the city centre, with marked walking and jogging trails through pine and oak forest. It's not a demanding climb, and from the upper paths you get panoramic views across the city and out toward the surrounding mountains.
The hill is popular with locals for early morning runs and evening strolls. A small monastery, the Church of Saint George, sits at the summit and is open to visitors. The park is free, well-maintained, and a welcome contrast to the heat and concrete of the city in summer.
