The southern waterfront of KNSM Island — a wide promenade along the IJ harbour, with views back across the water to the city centre. The housing blocks here (including the Piraeus building by Hans Kollhoff) are among the most distinctive examples of the 1990s dockland regeneration. Good for a long, undisturbed walk away from tourist traffic.
