Waterlooplein Market

Daily flea market on the old Jewish quarter square since 1886

Amsterdam's main flea market, running daily on the square in front of the Stopera. Second-hand clothes, vintage hardware, records, and tourist tat in roughly equal measure. The market has been here in some form since 1886, when it was the trading heart of the Jewish quarter. Worth a browse on a weekday morning when it's less crowded.
