Bagijnetoren is a preserved lookout tower from around 1500, built into Delft's old defensive wall. Its name refers to the beguines who lived nearby, and the tower is now protected as a Dutch national monument.
It is a modest stop rather than a major sight, but it helps make sense of Delft's old edge. Look for it while walking the quieter streets beyond the Markt and the canals around the centre.
