Molen De Put

Molen De Put is a reconstructed post mill beside the water near Leiden's historic centre. The current mill dates from 1987, but it recreates an earlier 18th-century mill that stood here until the early 19th century.

The mill is a small sight, but it sits in one of Leiden's most photogenic corners, close to the Rembrandt Bridge and the old city gates. It is best treated as part of a canal walk rather than a separate museum-style visit.
