Nobel Peace Centre

The Nobel Peace Centre tells the story of the Nobel Peace Prize and the people and organisations that have received it. Exhibits change, but the centre usually combines prize history with current questions about conflict, human rights, and peace work.

Its location beside Aker Brygge makes it easy to include in a central Oslo walk. Some exhibitions are confronting rather than celebratory, which is part of what makes the museum worth your time.
