St Barbara Church is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Chorzow, built in 1852 and later enlarged as the industrial city grew around it. The exterior has been restored and is the main reason to stop by; the interior is plainer and still shows its age.
It is a modest sight rather than a headline monument, but it helps explain the older religious and working-class fabric of Chorzow beyond the museums and Silesian Park.
