Fort I Twierdzy is a 19th-century armoured fort on the edge of Torun, built as part of the Prussian fortress system between 1888 and 1892. Visitors can see barracks, deep tunnels, surviving artillery positions, and lookout points. It is especially interesting for military-history travellers because much of the structure remains legible.
