A neoclassical basilica on Toural Square, just south of the historic centre. Construction began in 1737 and dragged on for nearly two centuries — the towers were not finished until 1907 — which is why the proportions feel slightly off.
The interior is austere, with marble altars and a barrel-vaulted nave. It is a useful contrast to the medieval churches further up the hill, and the steps in front make a good place to sit and watch the square at the end of the day.
