Guimarães Railway Station

A small Beaux-Arts station from the early 20th century, ten minutes' walk south of the historic centre. It is the terminus of the Guimarães line and the easiest way to arrive from Porto — trains run roughly hourly and take about an hour and a quarter.

The station building itself is modest but worth a glance for the tiled (azulejo) panels in the booking hall.
