This 1818 monument on Suvorovskaya Ploshchad depicts the legendary Russian general Alexander Suvorov as Mars, the Roman god of war. Sculpted by M. Kozlovsky with a bas-relief by F. Gordeyev representing the spirits of Glory and Peace, it stands at the approach to the Troitsky Bridge.
From Gorkovskaya metro, walk along Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt to the bridge — the monument is at the far end.
