Botanical Garden FEB RAS

Forest-like botanical garden north of Vladivostok run by the Far Eastern science branch.

The Botanical Garden of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is more woodland than manicured city garden. Set north of central Vladivostok, it protects and displays plants suited to the Russian Far East, with trails that feel pleasantly removed from the port city’s traffic and hills.

It is best for travelers who like quiet natural places and do not mind a trip out of the centre. Seasonal timing matters: spring flowers and autumn colour make the strongest impressions, while winter is more austere. The garden broadens Vladivostok beyond ships, forts, and viewpoints.
