Stopića Cave

Limestone cave near Zlatibor known for broad entrances, pools, and terraced tufa basins.

Stopića Cave is one of the easiest natural excursions from Zlatibor. The cave is known for its large entrance, underground stream, and stepped tufa basins that fill with water after wet weather. It is dramatic without requiring a technical caving trip.

The site is managed for visitors, with paths and lighting, but footwear still matters because cave floors can be damp. Combine it with Sirogojno or other Zlatibor countryside stops for a full day outside the resort centre. The cave is especially good in spring or after rain, when the water features are at their best.
