Košice's Bishop's Palace stands beside the cathedral, where several older houses were joined and rebuilt after the city became the seat of its own bishopric in 1804. The present facade followed a 19th-century fire and fits into the formal church ensemble around Hlavná ulica.
It is mainly an exterior architectural stop. See it together with St. Elisabeth Cathedral, St. Michael Chapel, and the State Theatre, where Košice's old centre is at its most polished.
